CHAMPION Melbourne captain Cameron Smith has agreed to new terms with the Storm for 2019, which will take him into his 18th NRL season and within reach of an incredible 400-game milestone.The deal is reportedly worth $1 million, according to The Daily Telegraph.Already on 382 games as well as 56 Tests for Australia and 42 games for Queensland, Smith is one of the most durable rugby league players in history and is
regarded as among the best to have played the game.Smith retired from representative football earlier this season and has played 24 games for the Storm this season, guiding them to their fourth-straight preliminary final next weekend.With teammates Billy Slater and Ryan Hoffman both retiring at the end of the season, the Storm were desperate to keep Smith on board to help guide a new era of young stars through the club.And with no representative duties, the 35-year-old is confident his body can endure one more season in the middle.
