Next gen stars put on a show

North Queensland youngsters Jake Clifford and Enari Tuala have shown there’s plenty to be excited about at the Cowboys next season after starring for the Junior Kangaroos’ 40-24 win over their Kiwi counterparts.Clifford produced a man-of-the-match performance at halfback,
while Tuala bagged a double.Young Kiwi prop Emre Pere, who also plays for the Cowboys, was impressive for the home side.But the biggest talking point to emerge from the game was Kiwi halfback Chanel Harris-Tavita’s freakish scorpion kick which helped set up a try for Isaiah Papali’i in the first half.
