Manly star Tom Trbojevic has confirmed he and his brother Jake will see out their contracts at the embattled NRL club despite the ongoing uncertainty over the Sea Eagles' coach for next year. There was speculation Trbojevic and his older sibling - both off contract in 2020 - may be tempted to leave Manly with popular coach Trent Barrett locked in a battle with the Sea Eagles over his future. Barrett resigned mid-season after falling out with club management and is trying to be released from his contract before July 2019.
His assistant John Cartwright is tipped to replace Barrett after South Sydney premiership winner Michael Maguire pulled out of the race. Their club may be in limbo but Trbojevic said he and his big brother weren't going anywhere. "We have got two years left there; we will definitely be serving them out," the 22-year-old said on Tuesday. The Trbojevic boys have been vocal supporters of Barrett, expressing their disappointment over the club's treatment of their beloved coach.
