It should be interesting to see how the Kiwis’ attack looks with Shaun Johnson at five-eighth and Kodi Nikorima at halfback. Both aren’t necessarily known for their organisational skills, but it appears Nikorima will be taking on those responsibilities.
The Brisbane star credited Kiwis coach Michael Maguire for helping him become a leader and instilling confidence to speak up in games. Consequently, the shackles would then be off Johnson, and we all know how well he can play off the cuff.
