Shaun Johnson in the dark over Warriors future

Shaun Johnson has arrived home in the dark about his future at the Warriors and is prepared to be open-minded about where he plays next. The long-serving Kiwis playmaker was accosted by journalists at Auckland Airport as the national team disembarked following their 2-1 series loss in England but could shed little light on his NRL prospects. While the series unfolded, Warriors chief executive Cameron George announced the 28-year-old
halfback was free to explore his options elsewhere, even though he has a year to run on his contract.Johnson confirmed nobody at the Warriors had been in touch but planned to get his head around the situation quickly.A meeting with manager Peter Brown was a priority as well as "speaking to anyone who's keen to have a chat, really".Johnson couldn't say if he would be at Mt Smart Stadium next year, having been a high-profile figure at the under-performing Kiwi club his 2011 debut."It is a business at the end of the day," Johnson said.
